1. Practical work experience:

Emmanuel Agom Nwoga is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Okwo-Oha Microfinance Bank Ltd. He joined Izzi Community Bank Ltd (Now Okwo-Oha Microfinance Bank Ltd) in 2001 as a ledger clerical officer. He has held and excelled in various management and leadership roles, including Head of Internal Audit and Control, Head of Accounts & Finance, Head of Operations, Head of Risk and Compliance, Head of Marketing & Product Development, Head of Credit & Recovery, and Head of Human Resources. He has also served as the branch manager of the bank's Abakaliki, Iziogo, and Ugbodo branches. He is a seasoned Banker with over 25 years of professional practice and leadership experience.

2. Professional Qualifications:

Emmanuel Agom Nwoga is a member of the following professional bodies in Nigeria; He is a distinguished Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), an Associate Chartered Taxation (ACTI) of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), and a Microfinance Bank certified Banker (MCIB) of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.

3. Academic Qualifications:

He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (B.Sc.) in Accounting from Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki. He is a student of Ebony State University, Abakaliki, pursuing a Master of Science degree in accounting.

Emmanuel Agom Nwoga is a man of integrity, resourcefulness, hard work, transparency, and discipline. He is a professional at driving business growth and fostering innovation, developing business strategies, and planning for operational efficiency. He is an expert in financial analysis and interpretation, budget forecasting, analysis and monitoring, corporate business reporting, taxation, regulatory compliance, auditing, and internal control systems.

b. National Treasurer of the National Association of Microfinance Banks in Nigeria (NAMB), Abuja, and the Chairman of the Finance Committee of NAMB, Abuja
c. Executive Secretary of NAMB South East Zone.
d. General Secretary, Chairman of the Training Committee and Treasurer of NAMB, Ebonyi State Chapter.
e. Internal Auditor, Chairman of the training workshops, and Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), Ebonyi State branch.
f. Former Lecturer at Excellent Professional Tutors, ICAN Study Centre, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, and Principal Consultant at NEAC Consulting.

Emanuel Agom Nwoga has extensive experience in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and led the team that deployed internet Banking, Mobile App, and USSD for Okwo-Oha MFB Ltd, integrating with Interswitch Ltd and NIBSS platforms. He is proficient with basic office software, including Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel spreadsheet, BankOne, SAGAMY Banking Software, and QuickBooks Professional.

8. Award of Excellence service:

Emanuel Agom Nwoga has received multiple awards for his pragmatic and results-oriented leadership style, including being named the best National Treasurer of the National Association of Microfinance Banks (NAMBS) in Nigeria in 2024, and recognised as the best participating Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the CBN Agricultural Credit Guarantee Scheme Fund (ACGSF) by the CBN and Bankers Committee, Abakaliki branch, from 2021 to 2024.
