Emmanuel Agom Nwoga is a seasoned Banker with over 22 years of work experience from the Banking sector. He joined Izzi Community Bank Ltd as a ledger clerical officer (Now Okwo-Oha MFB Ltd) in 2001. He hails from Izzi LGA, Ebonyi State. He has held various managerial positions: Head of Internal Audit and Control, Head of Accounts & Finance, Head of Operations, Head of Risk and Compliance, Head of Marketing & Product development, Head of Credit & Recovery, and Head of Human Resources. He has also held the position of branch manager of Abakaliki, Iziogo, and Ugbodo branches of the Bank before his appointment as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Bank in 2021.

Emmanuel Agom Nwoga is a man of integrity, resourcefulness, hard work, transparency, and discipline. He is skillful and talented in driving business growth and fostering innovation. He has a flair for transforming underperforming businesses into productive ventures and has built high-performing teams that exceed targets. He is skilled in strategic planning, operational efficiency, corporate business reporting, taxation and regulatory compliance, financial analysis and interpretation, budget forecasting, analysis and monitoring, Risk management, engaging with partners, and cultivating stakeholder and customer relationships to deliver measurable success.

He is a distinguished Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a Microfinance Certified Banker (MCIB) of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN). He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting (B.SC) from Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki.

Based on his prudent, accountable, and transparent experience in Banking and management of financial Resources, he has held other several positions, including the National Treasurer, and Chairman Committee on Finance of National Association of Microfinance Bank in Nigeria, Abuja, Executive Secretary, NAMB South East Zone, General Secretary, NAMB Ebonyi State Chapter, Chairman Training Committee, NAMB Ebonyi State Chapter, Treasurer, NAMB Ebonyi State Chapter. He served as the Internal Auditor, CIBN Ebonyi State Branch, Chairman Training Committee of CIBN Ebonyi State, and Chairman Audit Committee of CIBN Ebonyi State. He is the Principal Consultant of NEAC Consulting Services and the former Lecturer at Excellent Professional Tutors, ICAN study Centre, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.

Emmanuel Agom Nwoga has won several awards due to his pragmatic and result-oriented leadership style; the best National Treasurer of the National Association of Microfinance Banks (NAMBS) in Nigeria in 2024, and the best participating Bank under the CBN Agricultural Credit Guarantee Scheme Fund (ACGSF) from CBN and Bankers Committee, Abakaliki branch from 2021 to 2024.

He has attended numerous training workshops, seminars, and conferences organized by CBN, NDIC, NAMBs, ICAN, CIBN, CITN, FRCN, FITC, ITF, international organizations, Zonal Conferences, other government agencies, professional bodies, and various organizations in Nigeria.

Based on his vast experience in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), He led the team that deployed internet Banking, Mobile Apps, and USSD for Okwo-Oha MFB Ltd, integrating with Interswitch Ltd and NIBSS platforms. Proficient in working with basic office software, including Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel spreadsheet, BankOne, SAGAMY Banking Software, and QuickBooks professional.
